Harry Clarke and Nicolas Pepe

Ever wondered where the transfer news and transfers come from? Well, news outlets all over the globe are literally glued to the Gunners games, so it is no wonder that we have seen an increase in transfer activity from the Gunners this season. There has been a lot of rumors regarding Arsenal and transfers, but where does the information actually come from? Well, there’s news and transfers coming straight from the players themselves. So I thought I would give you a brief rundown of what is going on and what you can expect next week from Arsenal.

Summer transfer window 2021

Arsenal had a lot of summer transfers, but none seemed to make a lot of sense. Transferring Alexandre Lacazette to Olympique Lyon was supposed to be a big step in the Arsenal pipeline, but that seems to be a move that will never materialize, as Lyon are reportedly very skeptical about signing a player that is on their squad and yet another undisclosed transfer fee appears to have been added to the pile.

Other players have been brought in, but just cannot agree on a deal with the club, such as goalkeeper Petr Cech who is expecting to leave and possibly go to Chelsea. With this in mind, we take a look at what else we expect from this Arsenal team this season and look at some news and transfers that are going down the drain.

Arsenal News – August – La Liga Table

The Gunners seem to have filled the hole left behind by the departure of Robin van Persie with the signing of midfielder Alex Ox to join Benitez in a huge transfer fee deal. Now with Giroud hopefully joining the club from Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal will again have a powerhouse in the middle of the park. Giroud has been superb in the English top-flight, netting many times in both the league and cup during his time here, and he looks set to become the club’s all-time leading goal scorer.

Arsenal loanee wins award

Arsenal loanee Harry Clarke has won Ross County’s player of the month award for August.

Clarke made three appearances for the Scottish club in August and was impressed during the encounters.

The 20-year-old scored against the Rangers and has now been rewarded for his impressive form.

However with this new partnership comes a transfer ban for the French striker that seems inevitable now that Van Persie is gone, and another tough task for Arsenal to try and fulfill. Meanwhile, we also have another Arsenal player leaving, this time defender Mathieu Debuchy who has decided to leave for Newcastle United on a free transfer. Arsenal have already confirmed the signing of midfielder Robben Island, and despite missing out on signing another world-class defender this summer, the signing of the French right-back should help boost the club’s defensive ranks considerably.
